1997

Sparked by the forward-thinking idea, “There is no environment-friendly solution for cold, dry ceiling installation,” this need turned into an actual job tender.

1998 – 2000

Bernard GEIS, founder of the CLIPSO group, the fruit of three years of work, developed covering and installation systems that were unique in the world – a polyurethane-coated polyester screen up to 5.10 meters wide.

2001-2002

The CLIPSO concept is launched onto the market: A veritable revolution in construction and renovation because it provides an alternative solution that is greatly beneficial to professionals.

2003-2004

Following a meeting between Mr. Bernard GEIS and Mr. Serge WEIBEL, CLIPSO opens a production unit in Vieux-Thann (Alsace), France.

2005 – 2006

Created the R&D laboratory at the Vieux-Thann (Alsace), France site.
Received the Batiweb Awards trophy for the “Bathroom Interior” contest.

2007-2008

Ms. Catherine GEIS becomes the CLIPSO group’s CEO.
Developed colored printable coverings and new trims.
CLIPSO goes international where its products meet growing success.

2005 – 2006

Created the R&D laboratory at the Vieux-Thann (Alsace), France site.
Received the Batiweb Awards trophy for the “Bathroom Interior” contest.

2007-2008

Ms. Catherine GEIS becomes the CLIPSO group’s CEO.
Developed colored printable coverings and new trims.
CLIPSO goes international where its products meet growing success.

2009-2010

CLIPSO Interior Solutions Pvt. Ltd. opens in New Delhi, India. Received various certifications, notably ISO 9001 and CE Standards. Created new Acoustic 495 D, Antibacterial 705 AB, Nostain 705 and NoSweat 705, as well as frame accessories and trims. Received three consecutive Batiweb Awards for the “Interior Design”, “Heat Insulation” and “Ceiling” categories.

2011

Created the “Study and Design” department in our French site. Opened CLIPSO in London, England. Developed three families of coverings: Colour 705 C, Sparkly 705 PA and Translucent 307 T, 308 T, 309 T. Launched new applications, such as the suspended “NatureForms” frames. CLIPSO has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Pôle de Compétitivité Fibres Grand Est. Received the Batiweb Awards trophy for the “Interior Design” contest.
